A great deal of rainfall falls at Nelson Pond; throughout November this area sees the most rain while July is commonly the driest month. Stay the night at Paradise Motel, and a cool spot to stop by is The Bluff.

Valley is one of those things you just must do, and Matunuck Shore Break has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. Meadowlark RV Park is a great campground here, and on a beautiful day you can stop by Atlantic Beach. This
is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time.
That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Nelson Pond has it all. Do explore Easton Pond close to Nelson Pond, it's a stunning lake, and dry warm beds await
you at Rhea's Inn By The Sea. Summer at Nelson Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Nelson Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
