If you are traveling by, why not stop by Natick Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Matunuck Shore Break, and while here here do stop at close by Buttonwoods Beach. Natick Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. A stunning lake like Pawtuxet River next to Natick Pond is a fine site to go

while you're here; close by you locate pleasant places like Pawtuxet Valley. Yawgoo Valley is a delightful local ski area; Bald Hill is a peak you can make out from Natick Pond. Do check out Natick Pond Dam while you're here at Natick Pond; playing golf is lots of fun at Midville Country Club.

 | 10 miles away Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend... |
