Why not visit a swamp like Basket Swamp since you're here at Nannaquaket Pond, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Grimmells Beach. Interesting geology is available here; Wildcat Rock is near Nannaquaket Pond, and not far from Nannaquaket Pond you'll stumble on Cedar Island Pond which is a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. Jiley Hill can be seen from Nannaquaket Pond, and a good site to camp       here at Nannaquaket Pond is Green Oceans.
