Mill Pond is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Worden's Pond Family Campgrounds is a pleasant spot to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Clayhead Nature Trail is always a tremendous adventure. A day at Willow Dell Beach right next door to Mill Pond is time well spent, and nice skiing awaits you at Yawgoo Valley. For the period of the summer here at Mill Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours

| | of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Mill Pond fall into the 10's. An afternoon playing golf at Rose Hill Golf Club is always a delight, and if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn South Kingstown Newport Area is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. high level of precipitation makes Mill Pond a rather wet location; November is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mill
