This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Maple Lake, you could also check out close by Great Swamp Goose Marsh; going for a hike on the Narragansett Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Gould Neck is not far from Maple Lake at all, and there's some flowing water close by, Beaver River is a stream you can go to while here. A lake close by is Pasquiset Pond; nearby you stumble on the Clayhead Nature Trail which is       a glorious hiking trail. Not far from Maple Lake you acquire some pleasant water scenery at Great Swamp Goose Marsh Dam. There's so much to do here at Maple Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Card's Camp is a wonderful place for that. Maple Lake gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy                  all the enjoyable things at Maple Lake. If you came to camp Worden's Pond Family Campgrounds is a great spot to do that, and if you need a site to stay West Greenwich Super 8 Motel is a perfect choice. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Maple Lake reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Maple Lake. On a pretty day you can stop by Charlestown Beach near Maple Lake; from Maple Lake you get a nice vista of Shannock Hill. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Matunuck Shore Break, and a day on the slopes of Yawgoo Valley is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. It's always nice to explore Horseshoe Falls, and a splendid close by hotel is Best Western West Greenwich Inn. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Maple Lake.
