This lake is so wonderful. Courtyard Providence Lincoln is a great site to get some rest, and you're sure to stumble upon some fine folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here. Going for a hike along the Ross Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; why not a little side trip to Crookfall       Brook. Paddling on Clear and Branch is so much fun, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a delightful national park. During the months of summer here at Manville Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Manville Pond sink into the 10's. Lakes are brilliant;                  Blackstone River Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Manville Pond; you can spend the day on the beach at State Park Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Holiday Acres Camping Resort, and Manville Dam is a pretty site. A round of golf at nearby Bungay Brook Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time; you can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Yawgoo Valley. Manville Pond gets much water; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Manville Pond.
