Any time is a great time at Manton Pond if you fancy the outdoors. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Yawgoo Valley. Get covered with water paddling on Clear and Branch; you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Whipple Pond. During your stay at Manton Pond do visit nearby Twin Rivers Beach East, and dry warm beds await you at Hilton Providence. This lake is so wonderful. There's       some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Lymansville Dam in close proximity to Manton Pond; if you need a place to stay Warwick-Days Inn Cranston is a brilliant choice. This place rocks, just explore all the exciting stuff to do close to Manton Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a wonderful location to camp; Manton Pond is not far at all from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. Manton Pond is a wet place that gets a lot                  of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and July on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Manton Pond, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Manton Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Camp Sunrise is a delightful campground nearby; obviously Assapumpset Brook flows through this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Fruit Hill is pretty and can be seen from Manton Pond; Antushantuck Neck is very near and is a good site to stop at. A visit to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended, and Triggs Memorial Golf Course is a golf course close by.
