Long Pond is a nice lake to visit. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area); do schedule some time to stop by Knowles Point if you have a chance. This lake is so wonderful. Rose Hill Golf Club is a pleasant golf course close by, and a day at delightful Willow Dell Beach next to Long Pond is a wonderful thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. | | on Matunuck Shore Break for all you adrenaline junkies. All through the summertime highs here at Long Pond get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Long Pond fall into the 10's. and time spent at A B Carpenters Beach is always glorious. At Long Pond you can see Blackberry Hill, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dead Man Spring. A wonderful location to camp here at Long Pond is Wawaloam
Campground; lakes are such serene sites, why not check out Spectacle Ponds. Long Pond commonly gets a good deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. And that's not all
you can do here at Long Pond. You'll meet a lot of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here, and the slopes of Yawgoo Valley are so inviting noone can resist. The The Hills is one of the things that make Long Pond so good, and swing by Alewife Brook it's a great location to go to.
