Long Pond commonly gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during November; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Long Pond is Silver Lakes Park, and nearby you locate the Narragansett Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. During the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the       80's at Long Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Long Pond during the winter commonly dip into the 10's. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. You could also take a look at No Bottom Pond since you're here at Long Pond; it's nearby, and if you need a place to stay Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Matunuck Shore Break, and playing golf is lots of fun at Beaver River Golf Club.
