If you are traveling by, why not stop by Long Pond. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Good hiking is available along the Narragansett Trail, and after a long day outdoors Farm House is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Pond; Narragansett Trail is a pleasant local trail, and a gorgeous lake like Bailey Pond is a delightful spot to pop by. Do schedule some time to go to Buttonwood Corner

| | next to Long Pond if you have a chance, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Providence Woonsocket is a perfect site to get some rest.
Long Pond ordinarily gets a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most while February is commonly the driest month. While you're here at Long Pond you can play some golf at Beaver River Golf Club, and the snow is fine at Yawgoo Valley. This lake is so wonderful. | |

On a gorgeous day you can visit Browning Mill Pond Area Beach in close proximity to Long Pond, and there's good hiking along the Clayhead Nature Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Bailey Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Long
Pond; Long Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Card's Camp is a wonderful local campground. There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Lakes Park is a great spot for that;
Matunuck Shore Break is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Here at Long Pond you'll most likely meet some folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River.
For the period of the summertime highs here at Long Pond reach the 80's.
Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Long Pond tend to be in the 10's.
