This lake is so wonderful. Timber Creek RV Resort is a fine local campground; a lake nearby is Maschaug Pond. Enjoy a round of golf at Winnapaug Country Club not far from Little Maschaug Pond, and after a long day outdoors Sandy Shore Motel and Apts is a great place to spend a night or two. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Maschaug Pond; Narragansett Trail is a brilliant local trail. All the water falling       down from the sky makes Little Maschaug Pond a wet spot; November is when you get the most rain here while June is regularly the driest month. Be careful coming to Little Maschaug Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. Mastuxet Brook flows through this neighborhood, and a spree to Certain Draw Point is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Misquamicut State Beach, and the Clayhead Nature Trail offers hiking                  at its best. If you need a spot to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Stonington is a great choice, and Little Maschaug Pond is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, K O A Kampgrounds is a brilliant location to camp nearby.
