There's whitewater on Clear and Branch for all you adrenaline people, and swamps are attention-grabbing places and Mishnock Swamp close to Lake Mishnock is no exception. This is a popular spot for folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River; a day at pretty Browning Mill Pond Area Beach close to Lake Mishnock is a good thing to do. There's some interesting stuff to see at Tarbox Pond Dam right next door to Lake Mishnock;       a lake close by is Lake Mishnock. Lake Mishnock commonly gets lots of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Lake Mishnock is peerless! Going for a hike on the Walkabout Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and a wonderful place to camp here at Lake Mishnock is Camp Sunrise. All the outdoors fun stuff in close proximity to Lake Mishnock will keep you                  coming back persistently. After a long day outdoors Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and the top of Hopkins Hill is easily distinguished from Lake Mishnock. This lake is so wonderful. Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a tremendous location near Lake Mishnock, and the snow is glorious at Yawgoo Valley. The Ross Trail is a tremendous hiking trail next to Lake Mishnock, and why not take a little trip to Carr River if you're here. Near Lake Mishnock you find the Narragansett Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and camping at Colwell's Campground is always a great experience. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Lake Mishnock get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lake Mishnock plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Matunuck Shore Break, and if you need a place to stay West Greenwich Super 8 Motel is a pleasant choice.
