A journey to Scott Hollow is always fun, and you don’t have to go far from Koszela Pond to make out the water at Quidnick Reservoir Dam. Go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail; if you like swamps you're in luck, Great Cedar Swamp is right nearby. Summertime at Koszela Pond comes with high temperatures in       the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Koszela Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Koszela Pond rules! There's splendid hiking along the Border Trail, and naturally, this is a tremendous vicinity for folks who like lakes, Carr Pond is a lake around here. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley                  National Heritage Corridor is a delightful national park, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Quidnick Reservoir. Koszela Pond generally gets a good deal of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River; Bowen Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Koszela Pond. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors fun things next to Koszela Pond will keep you coming back over and over.
