All the water falling down from the sky makes Koszela Pond a wet location; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest month of the year is February. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in the neighborhood of Koszela Pond. Take a hike on the Border Trail; if you're dropping by from Willimantic, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Coventry Pines Country Club. You'll need       more than a day to discover everything Koszela Pond has to offer, you can camp at Whippoorwill Hill Family Campground. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Scott Hollow, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Bowen Hill can be observed from Koszela Pond; dry warm beds await you at West Greenwich Super 8 Motel. A delightful lake                  like Carr Pond right next door to Koszela Pond is a nice place to stop at, and swamps like Great Cedar Swamp are fun to explore. Through the summertime at Koszela Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Koszela Pond tend to be in the 10's. Koszela Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Hickory Ridge Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and the Narragansett Trail offers hiking at its best. Negro Sawmill Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and you can hit the slopes at Yawgoo Valley in close proximity. Koszela Pond is right by the Walkabout Trail, and Quidnick Reservoir Dam is an exciting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a delightful place to get some rest, and you'll locate a pretty lake called Quidnick Reservoir. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be.
