This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Keech Pond, you can go for a hike along the Ross Trail; do take a look at Cherry Valley Pond Dam while you're here. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn/North Scituate is a tremendous spot to spend a night or       two; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Stone Dam Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Flynns Beach close to Keech Pond is always a perfect idea, and at Keech Pond you always meet someone from Willimantic. So many enjoyable things to do at Keech Pond, so little time. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Quinebaug River. Lakes are nice; Peckham Pond is a lake that's near Keech Pond. Summer brings highs in                  the 80's to Keech Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Keech Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Head up to Yawgoo Valley and strap some skis to your feet. There is a glorious hiking trail next to Keech Pond called the Munyan Trail; Peckham Brook is right next door to Keech Pond and is always a joy to check out. The Walkabout Trail is a good hiking trail next to Keech Pond; if you came to camp Camp Ponagansett is a good site to do that. This site is so good, just look at all the cool things to do right next door to Keech Pond. Keech Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Echo Lake Campground is a great local campground; swamps don’t sound that good but Brush Meadow Swamp close to Keech Pond is pretty good. Much precipitation falls at Keech Pond; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February.
