Go to Jongue Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. There's whitewater on Clear and Branch for all you adrenaline kick people, and obviously, this is a brilliant area for people who like lakes, Blackamore Pond is a lake in close proximity. During the summer here at Jongue Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Cranston is a great choice, and Mount Pleasant is easy to spot from Jongue Pond. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Twin Rivers Beach, and golf can be played at Triggs Memorial Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Jongue
Pond there are plenty of people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, and Edgewood Beach is quite nearby if you're in a beach type of mood.
