After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area) is a glorious site to spend a night or two; Belleville Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clayhead Nature Trail, and some out of the ordinary geology is available here, Charles Rock is right here. You definitely have to like Jenkins Pond. The vistas at Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor will       blow your mind; there are plenty of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here at Jenkins Pond. Golf can be played at Woodland Golf Club, and the summit of Cocumcussoc can be seen from Jenkins Pond. Swamps like Black Swamp are fun to go to, and Matunuck Shore Break has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. At Jenkins Pond through the summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's                  while the cold winter nights at Jenkins Pond are in the 10's. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are truly abundant here at Jenkins Pond. Looking for some flowing water? Try Annaquatucket River, and you can hit the slopes at Yawgoo Valley around here. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Plum Point Beach while you're here at Jenkins Pond, and Jenkins Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Fisherman's Memorial State Park is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. During your stay at Jenkins Pond do pop by close by North Kingston Town Beach, and Budget Inn-N. Kingstown NR Newport is a great place to get some rest. Jenkins Pond commonly gets a lot of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. Do schedule some time to stop by Academy Cove next to Jenkins Pond if you have a chance; camping at Wawaloam Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Bellville Pond Dam close to Jenkins Pond, and a lake close by is Secret Lake.   Budget Inn-N.
