Jenkins Pond in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Academy Cove is around here and always delightful to stop by, and a tremendous panorama of beautiful Cocumcussoc is available. Jenkins Pond       gets lots of water; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. What a site this is for outdoors people. Good hiking is available along the Clayhead Nature Trail, and don't forget to take a delightful little visit to Annaquatucket River. If you need a site to stay Americas Best Value Inn-N. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's; night lows during the wintertime for Jenkins Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Matunuck Shore Break near Jenkins Pond; do pay a visit to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor while you're here at Jenkins Pond.
