Rhode Island has many beautiful lakes and Jamestown Reservoir is one of them. Jamestown Reservoir is a wet location that gets a good deal of precipitation; through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Jamestown Reservoir. After a long day outdoors NEWPORT OVERLOOK RESORT is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and the friendly people of Providence-New Bedford-Fall River like to hang out nearby. at Jamestown Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at
Jamestown Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at a swamp like Round Swamp since you're here at Jamestown Reservoir, and camping is available at Meadowlark RV Park. Be careful coming to Jamestown Reservoir, you might
not ever want to go back home again. Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a fine location in the vicinity of Jamestown Reservoir, and a day at Sunset Beach is time well spent. Why not pop by Jamestown Reservoir Dam
since you're here, and Freebody Hill is picturesque and can be spotted from here.
Bryer Point is not far from Jamestown Reservoir at all, and a delightful location to camp here at Jamestown Reservoir is Paradise Motel. America
Ledge is a good spot to check out while in the area, and Great Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out.
