Beautiful Huron Pond has much to offer visitors. While you're here at Huron Pond you can take a hike along the Walkabout Trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Mishnock River. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clear and Branch, and you can stay the night at Camp Sunrise.

After a long day outdoors Residence Inn Providence Coventry is a good place to spend a night or two, and good water scenery is available at Washington Pond Upper Dam close to Huron Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Coventry, and you can hit the slopes at Yawgoo Valley nearby.

I'm havin' a nice time here at Huron Pond. A lake close by is Lake Mishnock, and why not explore a swamp like Mishnock Swamp while you're here at Huron Pond. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Matunuck Shore Break. You'll
need more than a day to explore everything Huron Pond has to offer, you can camp at Colwell's Campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Huron Pond. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down
into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Huron Pond temperatures dip to the 10's.

Heritage Corridor is a very great site to go to in the vicinity of Huron Pond, and going for a hike along the Ross Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Huron Pond is a pretty wet place ordinarily with a great
deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest of the months is February. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is East Greenwich Golf Course, and the top of Boston Hill is easily spotted from Huron Pond.
