Just can't get enough of Hazard Pond. Very stunning scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Yawgoo Valley. Go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail, and a tour to Browning Mill Pond Area Beach is always a glorious idea. The high level of precipitation makes Hazard Pond a reasonably wet place; of all the months in a year November is the       one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Hazard Pond. While you're here at Hazard Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Willimantic; Escoheag Hill is lovely and can be seen from here. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PLAINFIELD is a delightful choice, and if you have time, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage                  Corridor is a national park worth taking a look at. It's a great idea to explore Carson Brook, it's near Hazard Pond; don't leave Hazard Pond without first going for a hike along the Border Trail. Do stop by Bailey Pond in the vicinity of Hazard Pond, it's a picturesque lake, and Circle C Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Pine Valley RV Campground, and paddling on Quinebaug River is so much fun. During the warmest time of the year at Hazard Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Hazard Pond throughout the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
