A lake nearby is Bailey Pond; Hazard Pond is not far at all from Willimantic. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Carson Brook, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great national park. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hazard Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime       are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hazard Pond dip into the 10's. If you get bored of Hazard Pond, you could also have a look at nearby Hazard Pond, and there's great hiking along the Narragansett Trail. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn Plainfield is a good choice; there's whitewater on Quinebaug River for all you adrenaline kick people. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Hazard                  Pond. A good deal of rain falls at Hazard Pond; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most while February is regularly the driest month. You should unquestionably check out striking Browning Mill Pond Area Beach while you're here at Hazard Pond; the top of Escoheag Hill is easily seen from Hazard Pond.
