Smithfield is a wonderful choice; Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a glorious place nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Gilleran Pond from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, you won't be the
only one, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Ponagansett is a splendid spot to camp.
It's a good idea to take a look at Chepachet River, it's in the vicinity of Gilleran Pond, and Spring Lake is a brilliant lake nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are perfect; and Spring Lake Beach in the vicinity of Gilleran Pond is no exception; Echo Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground. Lots of rainfall falls at Gilleran Pond; the month with most of the rain is November, and February is the month with the least moisture.
