Gardiner Pond is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course near Gardiner Pond is Newport National Golf Club, and Peckham Beach is pretty close by if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough       of the tremendous skiing at Yawgoo Valley, naturally you could also stop by Nelson Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. People from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River love to come to Gardiner Pond, and dry warm beds await you at The Sea Breeze Inn. Just can't get enough of Gardiner Pond. A wonderful place to camp here at Gardiner Pond is Meadowlark RV Park, and a visit to nearby Easton Point is very relaxing. So much amusing stuff to do at Gardiner                  Pond, so little time. Gardiner Pond Dam is a beautiful spot in the neighborhood of Gardiner Pond. After a long day outdoors Rhea's Inn By The Sea is a good place to spend a night or two; Barker Hill is wonderful and can be spotted from here. High temperatures at Gardiner Pond all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Gardiner Pond. Camping at Middletown Campground is always a brilliant experience; get drenched paddling on Matunuck Shore Break. If you want to hit the beach, Navy Beach is close by, and don't forget to take a delightful little tour to Little Creek.
