Balls Cove is close to Garden Pond and is a tremendous location to stop at, and a day at Mansion Beach is time well spent. Very gorgeous scenery and great skiing is what you get at Yawgoo Valley, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Matunuck Shore | |

Break. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A trip to Garden Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Niles Spring, and during your stay here do pop by nearby West Beach. Swamps are exciting places and Clayhead
Swamp in the vicinity of Garden Pond is no exception, and Block Island North Reef is a great place to go to. Garden Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is July.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Garden Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Long Cove Camp Sites and Marina is a brilliant spot for that; Garden Pond is right by the Clayhead Nature Trail. Holiday
Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area) is a brilliant place to get some rest, and Garden Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Worden's Pond Family Campgrounds is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. No need to travel far to pop by interesting stuff like Clay Head, and at Garden Pond you can spot Beach Plum Hill.
