Eldridge Creek flows through this vicinity; a tour to Allen Harbor is always a great idea. If you're a golfer then a nice nearby course is North Kingstown Municipal Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn-N. Kingstown. All the water falling down from the sky makes Frys Pond a wet site; November is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. Budget Inn-N. Kingstown NR Newport is a tremendous location

| | to get some rest, and Frys Pond is not the only site close by, Davol Pond is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor since you're here at Frys Pond, and Frys Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Fisherman's Memorial State Park is a good spot to camp nearby. drop down into the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's while Frys Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some wonderful folks
from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here; Calf Pasture Point Beach is a beach close by that you can have a look at. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Frys Pond has to offer, you can camp at Melville Campground
Recreation Area; Brig Ledge is a great spot to explore while in the area. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Frys Pond. Matunuck Shore Break is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Frys Pond,
and the top of The Mount is easily seen from Frys Pond. You could also have a look at Ishmael Lake if you're here at Frys Pond; it's close by, and beaches are delightful and North Kingston Town Beach is no exception. Don't you
try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Frys Pond. Gotta ski! Yawgoo Valley is a brilliant site to do that.

I have been fishing this lake for 45 years and it still produces some real fine fish....Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout... |
