There's whitewater on Matunuck Shore Break for all you adrenaline people; a visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. You could also check out Carr Pond while you're here at Fry Pond; it's close by, and skiing at Yawgoo Valley is one of those things you just ought to do. But wait, there's more to do close to Fry Pond. West Greenwich Super 8 Motel is a delightful place to get some       rest, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Browning Mill Pond Area Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Hammitt Hill is clearly visible from Fry Pond, and swamps like Cedar Swamp in the vicinity of Fry Pond make for perfect locations to stop by. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fry Pond; Border Trail is a delightful local trail; dry warm beds await you at Best Western West Greenwich Inn. A good deal of precipitation falls at Fry Pond;                  of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's.
