This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Betty Pucky Pond is in close proximity; don't leave Fresh Pond without first paying a visit to Boiling Spring. A cool spot to visit close to Fresh Pond is Black Rock, and Old Harbor is a site that is near Fresh Pond. The peak of Beacon Hill can be seen from Fresh Pond, and if you need a place to stay Narragansett Inn is a pleasant choice.

is so wonderful. Fresh Pond is a great location to camp, Card's Camp is a great location, and get wet paddling on Matunuck Shore Break. If you want to hit the beach, Vaills Beach is close by; there is a fine hiking trail close by
called the Clayhead Nature Trail. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The snow is fine at Yawgoo Valley.
During the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Fresh Pond, and through the night it cools
down to the 60's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Fresh Pond temperatures dip to the 20's. You truly have to like Fresh Pond. Long Cove Camp Sites and Marina is a pleasant campground here; if you would like a little side visit, try Rodman Hollow.
