Fox Hill Pond is a lake worth visiting. A great close by hotel is NEWPORT OVERLOOK RESORT; you can spend the day on the beach at Mackeral Cove Beach. And that's not all you can do here at Fox Hill Pond. The good people of Providence-New Bedford-Fall River like to hang out nearby, and some close by water includes Great Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Bay Voyage Inn is a great choice, and you can stay the night at Fisherman's Memorial State

to Fox Hill Pond, and Austin Hollow is also a glorious site to look at. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area in the neighborhood of Fox Hill Pond has to offer. Lakes are such serene places, why not visit Jamestown Reservoir close to Fox Hill Pond, and you can see Fox Hill from Fox Hill Pond.

 | 13 miles away Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend... |
