Swamps can be such interesting places, pop by Green Hill Swamp if you're here at Factory Pond, and a great view of delightful Green Hill is available. Do take a look at Green Hill Pond next to Factory       Pond, it's a charming lake, and good skiing awaits you at Yawgoo Valley. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do next to Factory Pond. Dry warm beds await you at West Greenwich Super 8 Motel, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Richmond Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Factory Pond you have to stop at Allen Cove; if you came for an overnight stay Card's Camp is a magnificent location to camp. Factory Pond                  is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Factory Pond; Clayhead Nature Trail is a good local trail, and Willow Dell Beach is rather nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a wonderful lake called Bull Head Pond near Factory Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Matunuck Shore Break. Worden's Pond Family Campgrounds is a nice local campground, and the Narragansett Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime highs at Factory Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Factory Pond.
