An exciting thing to check out right next door to Easton Pond is Easton Pond South Dam, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Yawgoo Valley. Be careful coming to Easton Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Beacon Hill is easy to spot from Easton Pond, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a splendid place close by. All through the months of summer highs here at Easton Pond get into the 80's. Summer overnight

| | lows descend down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Easton Pond are in the 10's. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Easton Pond. If you need a place to stay Newport Beach Hotel and Suites is a good choice, and a good location to camp here at Easton Pond is Paradise Motel.

at Meadowlark RV Park if you're here at Easton Pond. Interesting geology is available here; The Bluff is in the vicinity of Easton Pond, and a golf course close by is Newport National Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Since you
might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Nelson Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Matunuck Shore Break offers some splendid whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Easton Bay close
to Easton Pond is always a fine idea, and nothing beats kicking back at Easton Beach. There's some flowing water nearby, Bailey Brook is a stream you can stop by while you're here; Atlantic Beach is a beach nearby that you can have
a look at.
Easton Pond gets much water; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. While you're here at Easton Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Providence-New
Bedford-Fall River, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites Atlantic Beach Hotel is a pleasant location to spend a night or two.

Echo Lake is the best fishing lake in northern R.I. It has large mouth bass, pike, pickeral, and several varieties of pan fish. I have been fishing this lake for 45 years and it still produces some real fine fish....Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout... |
