Not far from Duck Ponds, you'll hit upon Pocasset Pond which is a charming lake; paddling on Clear and Branch is so much fun. All the water falling down from the sky makes Duck Ponds a wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Camp Sunrise is a great local campground; a golf       course nearby is Triggs Memorial Golf Course. Yeah, come here to Duck Ponds for a splendid time. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Smithfield; after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Smithfield is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Mountaindale Beach is close to Duck Ponds and is a striking beach to check out, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Ross Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Duck                  Ponds. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Duck Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you can pop by Georgiaville Beach in the vicinity of Duck Ponds, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Walkabout Trail. So much exciting stuff to do here at Duck Ponds, too great to be true. Really good skiing awaits you at Yawgoo Valley; you'll meet a lot of people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here. Why not camp at Holiday Acres Camping Resort while you're here at Duck Ponds; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Munyan Trail. A spree to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended; Almy Reservoir Dam is a place that is in the neighborhood of Duck Ponds. Lakes?
