No need to travel far to pop by out of the ordinary stuff like Garvy Ledges, and a great close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn/North Scituate. Harrisville Mill Pond is a great lake close to Duck Pond, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Sutton is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River, and stop by close by Malavary Swamp. This lake is so wonderful.

| | On a delightful day at Duck Pond you can take a hike along the Ross Trail, and you can spend the day on the beach at YWCA Beach. So many cool things to do here at Duck Pond, too great to be true. The vistas at Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind, and Clear and Branch is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. Playing golf is lots of fun at Crystal Lake Golf Club, and time spent at Flynns Beach is always great. Going | |

for a hike on the Munyan Trail is always a nice adventure; since you're here, you could have a look at Chockalog River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by Harrisville Pond Dam since you're here, and camping at Echo Lake
Campground is always a splendid experience. Yeah, come here to Duck Pond for a good time. A pretty lake like Pascoag Reservoir near Duck Pond is a magnificent spot to explore; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Walkabout
Trail. The warmest time of the year at Duck Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Duck Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Here at Duck Pond there are plenty of folks from Worcester. Oak Hill is clearly visible from Duck Pond; camping is available at Winding Brook Camping Area. All the water falling down from the sky makes Duck Pond a wet site; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
