Brushy Brook is a brilliant local stream, and if you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Meadow Brook Golf Course. Diamond Pond       is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you come at the right time of year, Matunuck Shore Break offers some great whitewater, and Budget Inn-Near Foxwoods is a perfect spot to get some rest. Sandy Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and you can go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail.                  Throughout the long summer days highs here at Diamond Pond reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Diamond Pond through the wintertime frequently dip into the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Diamond Pond. While you're here at Diamond Pond, you could also have a look at striking Carolina Trout Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Whispering Pines Campground is always a good experience; magnificent hiking is available along the Clayhead Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Narragansett Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Woodville Pond Dam has brilliant water scenery.
