The yearly rainfall here at Deep Pond is about average; November is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Deep Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Float down the rapids of Matunuck Shore Break in a kayak, and a perfect nearby hotel is Hampton Inn South Kingstown Newport Area.       Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clayhead Nature Trail; while you're here you should stop by Barlows Point. At Deep Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while Deep Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Long Cove Camp Sites and Marina is a great campground nearby; the summit of Beacon Hill can be seen from                  Deep Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you're looking for a beach close to Deep Pond, we recommend Black Rock Beach, and if you need a location to stay Sandy Shore Motel and Apts is a perfect choice. The slopes of Yawgoo Valley are so inviting nobody can resist; you need to pop by Black Rock since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect beach next to Deep Pond is Vaills Beach; a beautiful lake like Mitchell Pond is a good place to stop by. Deep Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Burlingame Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby, and if you fancy a little side tour, try Rodman Hollow.
