| | Edmond was one of the people involved in printing camouflage cloth during WWII. Cranston workers had forty foot by eighty foot ''victory gardens'' on the company's land across from the stream that flowed down from the Print Works Pond. A local farmer tilled the land with a horse drawn plow. Edmond died in Florida in 1970. Says Edmond Campbell
