Comfort Suites Smithfield is a great spot to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Walkabout Trail. If you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn/North Scituate is a pleasant choice, and lakes are such calm places, why not visit Spring Grove Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Peeptoad Pond is a tremendous lake close to Coomer Lake; going for a hike on the Ross Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater

| | of Quinebaug River, and don't leave Coomer Lake without first going for a hike along the Munyan Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Coomer Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is February. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. Melody Hill Country Club. Hunt Brook is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and camping is available at Camp Ponagansett. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Clear and Branch for all you thrill seekers,
and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Yawgoo Valley is relatively near. You get a magnificent sight of Absalona Hill from Coomer Lake, and there are plenty of people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here. Man, is there
a lot of exciting stuff to do close to Coomer Lake. Time spent at Steers Beach in the neighborhood of Coomer Lake is always delightful, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great place nearby. At Coomer Lake
throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Coomer Lake are in the 10's. Coomer Lake
Dam has great water scenery and it's right next door to Coomer Lake; a day at scenic Slacks Pond Beach in the neighborhood of Coomer Lake is a splendid thing to do.
