at Clarkville Pond. Going for a hike on the Border Trail is always a fine adventure, and nearby you'll come across a wooded vicinity called George Washington Memorial State Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling
is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clear and Branch, and one of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Clarkville Pond is Elmwood Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Keach Brook is a stream that you may
stumble upon while you're here; some exciting geology is available here, Hemlock Ledges is right here. Clarkville Pond regularly gets a lot of rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month
of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Clarkville Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Buck Hill Family Campground is a glorious place for that, and there are magnificent spots to discover along the Walkabout
Trail. If you're visiting Clarkville Pond from Willimantic, you won't be the only one; a good close by hotel is The Inn at Woodstock Hill.
