This lake is so wonderful. Montaup Country Club is a fine golf course nearby; you can hit the beach if you want, Grimmells Beach is practically right here. Cedar Island Pond regularly gets a good deal of rainfall; the
month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. The sight of pretty Pocasset Hill near Cedar Island Pond is glorious.

Echo Lake
| Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend... |
