Sure, Annaquatucket Mill Pond is in the vicinity, and Hannah Robinson Rock is a great place to stop at while in the region. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Carr Pond highs are regularly in the 80's. When the
night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's while Carr Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Carr Pond
you can take a hike along the Clayhead Nature Trail, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Yawgoo Valley. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff right next door to Carr Pond. If you came to camp Long Cove Camp Sites and Marina is a great place to do that; dry warm beds await you at Coachman Motor Inn.
