Summer brings highs in the 80's to Carr Pond; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Carr Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Mill Pond close to Carr Pond,       and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Carr Pond Dam. Carr Pond gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clayhead Nature Trail, and if you need a place to stay Budget Inn-N. Kingstown NR Newport is a glorious choice. Life's too short to enjoy all                  the entertaining things near Carr Pond. Barber Heights is picturesque and can be seen from Carr Pond.
