This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Quinebaug River; there's good hiking along the Narragansett Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Koszela Pond. There's so much to do here at Carr Pond that       you need to camp here for a while, Hickory Ridge Campground is a glorious spot for that. Carr Pond frequently gets a lot of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. So many amusing things in the neighborhood of Carr Pond, just unbelievable. The vista of Hammitt Hill from Carr Pond is stunning, and nearby Scott Hollow is a delightful place to go. For the period of the summer at Carr Pond highs are frequently                  in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Carr Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. If you came to camp Whippoorwill Hill Family Campground is a glorious spot to do that; unsurprisingly, this is a glorious neighborhood for people who like lakes, Quidnick Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. Paddling on Clear and Branch is so much fun; if you need a spot to stay Super 8 West Greenwich/Providence is a great choice. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Carr Pond. Coventry Pines Country Club is a golf course right next door to Carr Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Carr Pond; Walkabout Trail is a great local trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western West Greenwich Inn, and the Border Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
