You ought to definitely stop by beautiful Roy Carpenters Beach since you're here at Card Ponds, and do have a look at Trustom Pond, it's a picturesque lake. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area), and Dead Man Spring is an inspiring site to stop at while here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Card Ponds a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A great location to camp here at Card Ponds is Card's Camp, and going for a hike on the Clayhead Nature Trail is always a great adventure.
And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do next to Card Ponds. While you're here at Card Ponds you will meet lots of folks from close by Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. The top of Blackberry Hill is easily spotted from Card Ponds, and taking a little trip to close by Green Hill Point is a fine idea. If you

If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Matunuck Shore Break; Card Ponds is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Worden's Pond Family Campgrounds is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Rose Hill Golf Club, and a tremendous place to go to close by is Nebraska Shoal.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Hampton Inn South Kingstown Newport Area is a splendid choice, and why not head up to Yawgoo Valley and strap some skis to your feet.

Frontier Family Camper Park

There is really nothing exciting at this park, you must actually leave the park for something to do. Mainly seasonal campers. Nothing for children. If your out for relaxation and staying in your trailer or tent this is the place for you. Or if you want to go traveling to the nearby sites it's fine, but a family campground it is not!...
