     Rhode Island has many beautiful lakes and Lake Canonchet is one of them. Don't leave Lake Canonchet without first checking out Bog Rock, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Clayhead Nature Trail. A great deal of precipitation falls at Lake Canonchet; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A day at pretty Conochet Club Beach next to Lake Canonchet is a wonderful thing to do; you could  
   always explore Bass Rock.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Lake Canonchet. There's so much to do here at Lake Canonchet that you need to camp here for a while, Wawaloam Campground is a great location for that, and dry warm beds await you at Ocean Rose Inn. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Rose Hill Golf Club is close by, and Dunes Club Beach is a charming beach to check
 
               out. Stay the night at Long Cove Camp Sites and Marina, and a spree to Gin Spring will fill your soul with magnificent feelings.
If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Canonchet. Do pay a visit to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor since you're here at Lake Canonchet; there's some flowing water close by, Crooked Brook is a stream you can stop by during your stay. While you're here at Lake Canonchet you will meet lots of folks from nearby Providence-New Bedford-Fall River; the peak of Meetinghouse Hill can be distinguished from Lake Canonchet. A trip to Boston Neck near Lake Canonchet is always a magnificent idea, and there's whitewater on Matunuck Shore Break for all you adrenaline people.
This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Yawgoo Valley; on a pleasant day you can take a look at Crying Bog, a swamp in the vicinity of Lake Canonchet. Throughout the summer months at Lake Canonchet highs are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Canonchet are in the 10's.
Village Inn Narragansett Pier is a pleasant place to get some rest; Little Neck Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
