A golf course near Canob Pond is Meadow Brook Golf Course, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River. Any time is a nice time at Canob Pond if you love the outdoors. A splendid place for whitewater paddling near Canob       Pond is Matunuck Shore Break, and beaches are perfect and Browning Mill Pond Area Beach is no exception. This spot rocks, just check out all the amusing things to do in close proximity to Canob Pond. There's so much to do here at Canob Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Pines Campground is a great place for that, and you can go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail. Moonshine Swamp is a swamp near Canob Pond, and a lake nearby is Yawgoog                  Pond. Canob Pond regularly gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through November; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant locations to look at along the Narragansett Trail; a tour to close by Buttonwood Corner is very relaxing. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Inn-Near Foxwoods; you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Yawgoo Valley. Goat Rock is an exciting thing to see if you're here at Canob Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 West Greenwich/Providence is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Wyoming Pond Upper Dam has good water scenery and it's next to Canob Pond, of course you could also visit Wyoming Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Good hiking is available along the Clayhead Nature Trail, and Kenyon Hill is clearly visible from Canob Pond. During the long summer days at Canob Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Canob Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
