Box Pond is not the only location nearby, Canada Pond is a nearby lake. After a long day outdoors Renaissance Providence Hotel is a great location to spend a night or two; naturally, all our national parks are glorious places to stop at and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception. Box Pond is a quite wet place ordinarily with lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of       the months is July. Baileys Butts is a peak you can catch a sight of from Box Pond; if you get bored of Box Pond you could also go to close by Upper Canada Pond. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Box Pond. A swamp like Forestack Meadow next to Box Pond has lots of out of the ordinary things to see, and you should certainly explore beautiful Frank Moody State Beach while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak                  and hit Clear and Branch; you can take a little tour to Canada Upper Pond Dam while you're here at Box Pond. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Box Pond. The wonderful people of Providence-New Bedford-Fall River like to hang out close by, and great skiing awaits you at Yawgoo Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to have a look at Moshassuck since you're here at Box Pond; dry warm beds await you at Marriott Providence. Some nearby water includes Moshassuck River, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Silver Spring Golf Course. A brilliant location to camp here at Box Pond is Camp Sunrise, and if you want to hit the beach, Twin Rivers Beach East is around here. Summertime highs at Box Pond usually tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Box Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's.
