Boat House Gully, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Harborside Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest; during your journey here you'll meet some people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River for sure. Beaches are nice;
and Bailey Beach in the neighborhood of Boat House Gully is no exception, and if you're here, do take a tour to Brenton Cove. Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a magnificent local destination here at Boat House
Gully, and you could always look at Haycock Ledge. Boat House Gully sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest month of the year is July. During the warm days of summer, highs generally
are in the 80's at Boat House Gully while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Boat House Gully temperatures plunge to the 10's.

 | 14 miles away Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend... |
