Yeah, come here to Blue Pond for a brilliant time. A great beach in close proximity to Blue Pond is Browning Mill Pond Area Beach; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Narragansett Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Pond is not the only site nearby, Ashville Pond is a nearby lake, and let's not forget Log House Brook which is a stream that you may encounter during       your stay. So much amusing stuff to do here at Blue Pond, too great to be true. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Fenner Hill Country Club is nearby, and after a long day outdoors Budget Inn-Near Foxwoods is a good place to spend a night or two. Looking for something close to Blue Pond? Wincheck Pond is close at hand, and there are some great whitewater spots on Matunuck Shore Break. All the water falling down from the sky makes Blue                  Pond a wet site; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month. At Blue Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Blue Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. There's so much to do here at Blue Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Pines Campground is a brilliant place for that, and Brightman Hill is pretty and can be seen from here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Blue Pond has to offer, you can camp at Greenwood Hill Family Camp Ground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Blue Pond you can take a hike along the Clayhead Nature Trail, and the slopes of Yawgoo Valley are so inviting noone can resist.
