What a site this is for outdoors folks. On a brilliant day it's a tremendous idea to spend the day at Frank Moody State Beach, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PROVIDENCE-WOONSOCKET.       Albion Falls is an inspiring site to stop by during your stay, and Circle CG Farm Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Lower Rochambeau Pond near Blackstone River Reservoir is a nice place to check out, and the top of Beacon Pole Hill is easily seen from Blackstone River Reservoir. Blackstone River Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and July on the                  other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Blackstone River Reservoir through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Blackstone River Reservoir. Crookfall Brook flows through this area, and Yawgoo Valley is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Blackstone River Reservoir. If you want to hit the beach, State Park Beach is around here; after a long day outdoors Courtyard Providence Lincoln is a good location to spend a night or two. There's whitewater on Clear and Branch for all you adrenaline people, and don't leave Blackstone River Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Ross Trail. For you golfers we recommend close by Bungay Brook Golf Club, and a tour to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended. This lake is so wonderful.
