Blackamore Pond is a relatively wet place typically with much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Rocky Hill is clearly visible from Blackamore Pond; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Hills since you're here. What would winter be without some skiing at Yawgoo Valley. You'll need more than       a day to explore everything Blackamore Pond has to offer, you can camp at Holiday Acres Camping Resort. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Blackamore Pond, you could also check out picturesque Jongue Pond, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Providence/Warwick Airport is a great place to spend a night or two. On a magnificent day it's a great idea to spend the day at Sandy Beach, and if you have time, Blackstone River Valley National                  Heritage Corridor is a national park worth going to. Take a little journey to Pocasset River while you're here at Blackamore Pond, and Warwick-Days Inn Cranston is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Triggs Memorial Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Blackamore Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Sunrise is a pleasant place for that. You're sure to bump into some fine folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here, and if you want to hit the beach, Edgewood Beach is in close proximity. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. There's whitewater on Clear and Branch for all you adrenaline junkies, and why not explore Antushantuck Neck also since you're here. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in close proximity to Blackamore Pond. You'll come across a picturesque lake called Spectacle Pond near Blackamore Pond; there's some interesting stuff to spot at Cranston Print Works Pond Dam in the vicinity of Blackamore Pond. At Blackamore Pond all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
