Hit the beach if you want, Slacks Pond Beach is practically right here, and Betty Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Clear and Branch; swamps like Pine       Swamp in close proximity to Betty Pond make for great locations to check out. At Betty Pond throughout the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Betty Pond. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Betty Pond. Betty Pond is right next door to Gainer Memorial Dam which is a picturesque location certainly worth going                  to. There's so much to do here at Betty Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Sunrise is a brilliant place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Americas Best Value Inn/North Scituate is a great spot to get some rest, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a brilliant local destination. Not far from Betty Pond, you'll come across Duck Pond which is a stunning lake, and do explore Kent Brook while you're here at Betty Pond. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Betty Pond. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Yawgoo Valley, and while you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Cranston Country Club. Hiking along the Munyan Trail is splendid fun. There are other places here than Betty Pond, for example Madison Pond, and Betty Pond is right by the Walkabout Trail. Betty Pond regularly gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest.
