Copps Cave is close at hand and always great to check out. Cranberry Bog is a swamp near Bellefont Pond, and on a fine day it's a nice idea to spend the day at Sandy Beach. Bellefont Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month
with most of the rain is November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clear and Branch, and State House Inns is a pleasant
site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site to camp here at Bellefont Pond is Melville Campground Recreation Area; if you want to visit some exciting stuff, visit Silver Hook. All the outdoors amusing stuff
near Bellefont Pond will keep you coming back again and again. If you want to hit the beach, Edgewood Beach is around here; while you're here and you like golf, you can explore Silver Spring Golf Course.
