     Go for a hike on the Walkabout Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Bel Air has to offer, you can camp at Camp Ponagansett. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Smithfield, and beaches are perfect and Mountaindale Beach is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant spots to look at along the Ross Trail; you don’t have to go far from Lake Bel Air to catch a glimpse of the water at Tarkiln  
   Pond Dam. Playing golf is lots of fun at Country View Golf Club, and the view of wonderful Black Plain Hill is glorious.
Do stop at Nichols Pond close to Lake Bel Air, it's a pretty lake, and lots of people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River come here. This place, Lake Bel Air, it just has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Swamps can be such interesting spots, check out Nipsachuck Swamp since you're here at Lake Bel Air, and if you need a site to stay
 
               Quality Inn Smithfield is a delightful choice. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Lake Bel Air. Looking for some flowing water? Try Rankin Brook, and Lake Bel Air is a great location to visit for more than one day, Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a great location to camp nearby.
Steers Beach is a beach near Lake Bel Air that you can go to; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Yawgoo Valley. For the period of the long summer days at Lake Bel Air highs are generally in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Bel Air dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. A striking lake like Tarkiln Pond close to Lake Bel Air is a fine place to go to, and get covered with water paddling on Clear and Branch.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake Bel Air is a rather wet place commonly with much rain; most of the rain falls during November, and February is the month with the least moisture. Good hiking is available along the Munyan Trail, and visiting Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
