There's so much to do here at Barden Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Ponagansett is a tremendous place for that, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Westconnaug Reservoir is one of those close by. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Steers Beach; at Barden Reservoir you can make out Big Hill. There's some exciting stuff to see at Barden Reservoir Dam right next door to Barden Reservoir, and a round of golf at nearby Foster Country Club

| | is a magnificent way to kill some time. Throughout the summertime months, highs generally are in the 80's at Barden Reservoir while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Barden Reservoir during the wintertime mostly fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Barden Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Whippoorwill Hill Family Campground. If the weather is delightful here at Barden Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Walkabout Trail; a great place for whitewater paddling is Clear
and Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Ross Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Lakes are great; King Pond is a lake that's close to Barden Reservoir. Some close by water includes
Bear Tree Brook, and you're sure to encounter some nice people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Barden Reservoir has it all. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley
National Heritage Corridor is a magnificent national park; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Munyan Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a pleasant
site to get some rest, and what would winter be without some skiing at Yawgoo Valley. Barden Reservoir usually gets much rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. If you need a site to stay Americas Best Value Inn/North Scituate is a pleasant choice.
