from nearby Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. A day at charming Gooseberry Beach next to Almy Pond is a nice thing to do. There's so much to do here at Almy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Motel is a magnificent
spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Harborside Inn is a pleasant choice, and don't leave Almy Pond without first checking out Beach Rock. Almy Pond regularly gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month.
