    The beauty of Almy Pond is reason enough to stop by. Having a magnificent time at Almy Pond is simple. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Jamestown Golf Course; if you have time, Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth going to. All through the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 80's at Almy Pond. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Throughout  
   the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's while Almy Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Time spent at Bailey Beach near Almy Pond is always nice, and dry warm beds await you at NEWPORT ONSHORE RESORT.
A journey to close by Brenton Cove is very relaxing; if you came to camp Meadowlark RV Park is a delightful location to do that. A perfect spot to take a look at close to Almy Pond is Haycock Ledge,
 
               and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Matunuck Shore Break.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Yawgoo Valley, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. A day at charming Gooseberry Beach next to Almy Pond is a nice thing to do. There's so much to do here at Almy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Motel is a magnificent spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Harborside Inn is a pleasant choice, and don't leave Almy Pond without first checking out Beach Rock.
Almy Pond regularly gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month.
